The TransLogix Workshop solution helps you manage workshop & maintenance activities to ensure you meet the regulatory and safety standards for all vehicles in the most cost efficient well planned way. It tracks the maintenance history of each vehicle and generates detailed reports with accurate costs.

Workshop Management and Job Costing

The Workshop module enables complete control of workshop operations, catering not only for your own vehicles and trailers, but also for any third party work you may carry out.

  • Creation of standard jobs that include parts, labour and specific checks are the simplest way to manage scheduled maintenance.
  • The system can predict when the maintenance needs to be carried out based on odometer or date information from the asset (vehicle, trailer etc) master data.
  • Jobs can be created and adjusted on the fly to reflect the actual work being carried out.
  • Reports such as projected expenditure, historical expenditure, per vehicle or for the whole fleet are available to give you a full analysis of your workshop operations.
  • Diary showing you the workshop activities scheduled per vehicle
  • When used together with the transport module, the integrated solution will ensure that vehicles in the workshop are not available.
  • Faults can be reported directly by drivers through the mobility module.
  • Scheduled maintenance activities can be reported to ensure suppliers deliver parts on time to reduce inventory and vehicle down time.

Stock Control

A fully integrated stock control system keeps parts and individual stock records. By keeping track of minimum and maximum stock levels with details of the suppliers, lead time for orders and inventory locations, it allows you to do just in time ordering.

Workshop Invoicing

The Workshop invoicing solution allows you to invoice workshop activities to customers. If the TransLogix Accounts module is installed, the sales ledger account will be automatically updated and the information passed to the general ledger.

Purchase Order Processing

Purchasing becomes easier and quicker with this module which provides a full parts ordering system. Purchase Ordering holds the previous best price and supplier details, automatically generates a purchase order number and form and links to the Stock Control system and Accounts.
