Prior to Sapphire, we ran disparate legacy systems to manage our transport and workshop requirements. There were several shortcomings including revenue leakage, our continued reliance on paper work, inefficient vehicle utilisation and inadequate advanced KPI reporting.

Also, introducing web based services and real time data capture was only possible by investing a lot of time, money and resources. Instead we decided to look for mature solutions already in the marketplace, which could provide value for money, as well as remove the strain on our existing resources.

Most importantly, we wanted a supplier with a proven ability, who could integrate all our requirements and "hit the ground running".

Solution

The consultants at TransLogix were extremely quick in understanding our requirements and providing the right integration tools to function in our multi-system environment. We believe their solution expertise and excellent product has given us real value for money.

Our final selection was the Sapphire Transport Operations module. This decision was guided by their structured application support and upgrade path, the ease of use of the system and the maintenance plan. Currently, we are in the process of replacing our old workshop systems with the Sapphire Workshop module.
